Venture AOT Squad Play
Online streets. Call the blind. Share the nape.
Venture AOT is an online Roblox experience. Even when you “solo,” other scouts share the stone streets. Closed Community Lore Mode is even more social. This page is the manners and roles guide that sits next to skill builds. It assumes you already know how to kill titans.
Default Freeplay roles
You do not need a Discord raid overlay. You need three jobs:
Blinder. Takes eyes, calls “blind.” Does not take the neck unless the cutter is down. Mobility-heavy build. Burst is enough.
Cutter. Waits for the call, arrives behind, one clean cut. If they miss, they say so. They do not spin around the head until the tank dies.
Fuel caller. Watches G — theirs and, if voice is on, yours. Tells the squad to roof when two tanks are yellow. This is the role that prevents four empty canisters and one grab.
Rotate jobs each titan so nobody ego-locks the nape. If you are in a random public shard, you can still play blinder by default: take eyes, leave the neck, move on. That is how you make friends without a premade.
What not to do in a street
- Slash a titan someone already blinded and lined up. You stole a point and a mood.
- Boost through a teammate’s cable. Physics does not care about your montage.
- Hook flesh as travel while a cutter is on the back. You become a necklace and a wrecking ball.
- Inject a script in a Lore session. That is how waves close. Script safety.
- Scream for a save when you are empty and mid-plaza. Land, R, G, rejoin the height.
Voice, ping, and no-mic
Official Discord is discord.gg/aotventure. Use it to form a three-stack, then hop into Freeplay. No-mic squads can still work: blinder stays on the titan’s face for a second longer than they need, which is a visual call. Cutters watch for that pause.
If ping is high (Asian shard clips in How To Play sat around 300), take slower anchors. Physics plus latency is how you “hit” a nape that already moved. See ODM controls for reel timing that forgives a beat.
Lore Mode extra rules (when you get in)
Closed Community Lore Mode is not a deathmatch with extra cutscenes. Treat it as a tester space:
- Show up on time for the session.
- Do not grief NPCs, walls, or other branches if the scenario forbids it.
- Do not leak unreleased map geometry as “infinite gas spots.”
- Read closed testing before you argue with a host.
Freeplay habits (farm every titan) can break a lore beat. Ask what the scenario wants: defend, scout, or hunt.
Skill choices that help a squad
Burst remains slot one for everyone. Slot two on a blinder is escape so they can stay on the face. Slot two on a cutter is nape-assist only if they already never miss. Support tools that help others climb toward A on the skill tier list in premades and sit in B in random pubs.
Do not all buy the same slash. Four identical cutters is how necks get griefed and blinds never happen.
A ten-minute squad drill
- Meet on a roof. Everyone taps G.
- Assign blinder / cutter / caller for the first titan only.
- One titan. One cut. Roof. Swap jobs.
- Repeat twice.
- Debrief deaths. If two people died empty, the caller failed, not the titan.
That drill teaches more than a random public pile-on. When it is clean, go play a real street. When it is not, go back to how to swing as a trio — swinging together is harder than slashing together.
Pin Discord and the players hub after this page. Online play is the default, not a weekend event.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Venture AOT questions.
Does Venture AOT have online co-op?
Yes. Freeplay and Lore are online Roblox servers. There is no local split-screen.
Who should take the nape?
The cutter after a blind call. If you did not call it, do not steal it.
Should the whole squad buy Gas Burst?
Yes. Burst is slot one for every role. Diversify on slot two.
